Steve Hullfish has been producing and editing award-winning television since the mid-1980s. He has written four books, countless magazine articles and hosted an Avid training DVD. He has lectured at NAB, DVExpo and the Master Editor seminars. He has edited on Avid since 1992 and was named to Avid's first group of Master Editors. Podcasting is a fun way to talk to a lot of people about things that interest you or about which you are an expert. This article is going to show you how to be up and running with your first podcast in just a few minutes! All you really need is your trusty Mac and a version of iLife – hopefully the latest version, iLife’09.

You’ll also need some kind of microphone, though you can use your built in mic if you are on a MacBook, iMac or a MacPro with a Mac monitor. You probably have a mic laying around the house that will work.
